Day 15: Everyday Is Like Sunday (I Wish…)

Vela Luka, Croatia

Strange day today… Bobby pretty much told us interns to be tourists for the day. The reason was that some of our instructors were doing a Croatian dive license / work permit course so we have a few Croatian officials at the dive center. Things can get really complicated really fast if they see us interns as “workers.” Long story short, I spent the day diving twice at Seahorse Bay with Sean and updating the blog. By 3pm Bobby told us to just go home.

On the evening, the whole crew went to a neighboring town 30 minutes car ride away to have dinner at this cozy little restaurant. Everything cooked there is supposedly home-grown and home-made. The prawn pasta I had was good but was on a pricier side of my budget. It can easily cover a whole week’s worth of Pizetta at Alfa.

Croatian phrase of the day:

Kako se ti zoves = What’s your name?
