Day 14: Underneath a Distant Moon

Vela Luka, Croatia

I finally went into the water today! :D
We didn’t have much to do at the dive center in the afternoon, so Bobby told Sean and I to suit up and go for two 20-min dives in the front of the dive center. The site is called “Seahorse Bay” because apparently there used to be a lot of seahorses. Such is no longer the case. Tom, a staff instructor here, came with us just to make sure we’re all okay since we both hadn’t been in the water for a month.

I found out today that Andy brought a tripod with him, so I borrowed it and went to shoot some night shots. I only got two decent pictures. The place where I tried to take the photos from didn’t have street lights and I didn’t have a torch nor my iPhone with me. It’s a tough one, trying to mess with the camera setting in pitch dark.

Croatian phrase of the day:

[Ne] razumijem = I [don’t] understand
