Day 2: I Can Hear the Sea!

Dubrovnik, Croatia

The flight from Vienna was pleasant as it took only an hour. To get to my hostel, I had to take a bus from the airport to the city center. The view while riding down the bus was breathtaking: sea on the left, hills on the right, and houses with terracotta roof sprinkled all over :D

Dubrovnik turns out to be a lot smaller than I had imagine. I landed at 2pm and by 4pm, I was all ready to head out of the hostel to go check out the touristy Old City section of the town.

One thing I noticed very fast was that this city has tons of stray cats :] I followed this fella to the port:

You should take in all the stray cats you come across and see how many you collect by the end of the trip.

Very jealous and happy for you. Show the ocean who’s boss!

Oh boy, if I were to do that, I’d have collected 20+ so far. I reckon I could easily end up with at least a thousand if I travel for a year.
