Asilah, Morocco
Waking up to a cloudy morning and a big breakfast, Elys and I went around town to see what we could find. Outside of the Medina walls was the rocky coastline where we watched the waves come in. Poseidon was looking a bit angry today, grey skies and rough surf, so we sat back on the rocks and watched the sea crash into the shore. We heard so much about the beaches near Asilah but on a rainy day like today it’s tough goings to get there. It doesn’t seem like we were going to make it to the famed Paradise Beach on this visit.
Later we met up with Abdel who took us to hang out with Redwan again at his flat in the medina. Once again the time flew by as we listened to some of their music and played a bit of our own.
After another huge dinner, Elys and I walked off our meal and took a stroll to the jetty to hang out with the fishermen.
