Cyrillic looks similar to Engish alphabets but it’s not. That’s the tricky part about it: trying to not read it as you would English.

which I assume means

I spent the day wondering the old town on Plovdiv with Jonathan (an American from the hostel). Even though Plovdiv’s center is quite small, we were lost a few times.
Interesting about Plovdiv is that one can find Roman ruins right in the middle of the city; one level below. And going up the hilly part of the town, there’s also a Roman amphitheater. I had grown a bit tired of the Roman ruins. Don’t get me wrong, they are impressive, but I’ve seen plenty of them, be it in Italy, Turkey, and even Morocco.
What I enjoyed most in Bulgaria is their architecture design. The building are mostly straight walls and the styling is painted on (pillars, decorative motifs, etc); thus creating a very unique look I haven’t seen done much elsewhere.
