Day 390: Blue City Grey Sky

The fourth day of our trip we proceeded to Jodhpur, the blue city. When we arrived there we couldn’t reach our hostel because of a flood. In the afternoon we took a tuctuc to the Mehrangarh Fort. We got audio guides and felt like a real tourist! At the top of the fort you had a really nice view en we saw why the city is called “blue city”, all the houses are painted blue. In the evening we explored the neighbourhood and the local markets, but because of the rain and the flood, the streets were really dirty and smelly. We went back to our hostel and play a few Belgian card games. Elys was really good at it and became president!
