Day 237: Caught Me Thinking
Sydney, Australia
Manly is a suburb with hidden beaches and luxurious seafront houses in the northern part of Sydney. It’s only 20 minutes ferry ride away from Sydney’s main dock.
I saw on my “Free Things to Do in Sydney” brochure that there’s a nice 10km trekking path along the coast of Manly. It’s a beautiful beautiful walk. Weather was perfect but 10km with sandals was probably not such a good idea. Would have been great also if I had brough my swimwear. The hidden beaches were mostly empty because it was a week day. The more Sydney I saw, the more I wondered why I even bother to live in NYC. But boy, is Sydney expensive comparatively speaking… food and transports are cheaper in NYC, and probably rent as well.
