Day 184: The Hunger Games
La Paz, Bolivia
Lazy day. Walked around town with Andre. Visited the fair again and found out that it’s an annual fair called “Alasita” and it takes place in January and February We also spent time just sitting in the park since Andre wasn’t feeling well and had trouble walking. He got very sick in the end so we hailed a collective to go back to the hostel. Collectivos are van that go around the city and some 15 passengers will cramp into them and are free to hop on an off wherever they like. Cost a flat rate of $0.20.
In the evening, I went to the market to buy the $1 dinner set menu and brought them back to eat with Andre. The poor kid was bedridden and suspected that he might have gotten altitude sickness.
