Day 137: Fractal Loop
Marrakesh, Morocco
So… I’m back at writing the blog entries. It sucks cos I’m getting used to having a guest writer :]
After the incident from yesterday, Storm and I took it easy for the day. After breakfast in the morning and a stroll in the Souk (market) of Djemaa El Fna, we went back to the hotel to rest and to avoid the heat of the noon. We killed the afternoon by having a “Breaking Bad” marathon. We couldn’t seem to get enough of Walt and Jesse.
Once the sun was setting, we headed out again to the market to get feed ourselves. And at night, we decided to watch another episode of Breaking Bad on the hotel’s rooftop terrace. It’s a good idea since our room was small and the entire wall was decorated with the fractal tiles. Storm said it made him feel like being in a crack house, being high and having hallucination, where everything around him turned psychedelic and colourful. No, it’s not his medication talking, it was quite an accurate description of the room.
