Day 19: Hello, My Name Is Elys

I had been doing my Emergency First Responder (EFR) course for the past two days. Overall, the course was fairly easy since it’s pretty repetitive. I must have repeated this line “Hello, my name is Elys. I’m an emergency responder. May I help you?” more than a hundred times.
Aside from my courses, I also had to do my regular intern duty.
I was on boat duty the whole morning then it’s half hour lunch before I jumped into the final scenario tests for the EFR course. And as soon as I passed the test, my instructor Tom had me start my Rescue Diver course right away!
I was so knackered by the end of the day and the lack of sleep for the last 3 weeks finally caught up as well. I was in bed by 8:30pm.
