Day 380: Unique Halogen Products

Beijing, China

Besides updating the blog all day long, the only thing I did was going to a restaurant located in one of the many Hutongs in Beijing.

What’s a Hutong?

Hutongs (simplified Chinese胡同traditional Chinese衚衕pinyinhútòng) are a type of narrow streets or alleys, most commonly associated with Beijing,China. In Beijing, hutongs are alleys formed by lines of siheyuan, traditional courtyard residences.[1] Many neighbourhoods were formed by joining onesiheyuan to another to form a hutong, and then joining one hutong to another. The word hutong is also used to refer to such neighbourhoods

The restaurant Ruoz had chosen is a vegetarian one, serving interesting healthy dishes, like “Unique Halogen Products”…… ?????
