Day 104: I Met Dave and He’s Alright…

Ha! I saw David today at L’Accademia. Again, not so impressed by Michelangelo. His proportion is a bit off. David has massive head and hands. I always wonder how certain artwork became more famous than the rest. From the D’Accademia gallery, I thought Bartolini‘s work were a lot more interesting. David got tons of fan though, as you can see from the restroom’s door:

I managed to fall asleep on the park bench after lunch today, only to be woken up by a shady man offering me a place to stay and coffee at his house. The later part of the day was spent back at Valeria’s house taking it easy and updating the blog.
